In an effort to help our families and school in the struggling economy we are offering a Scrip sales program. Scrip is another word used for gift certificates that you can purchase through the school. We use Great Lakes Scrip Center who purchases the certificates at a discounted rate, allowing the school to benefit on that discount. The discounts vary per vendor. There are over 300 vendors to choose from nationwide so you can purchase gifts or prepare for that vacation you want to take. Everything from grocery stores, gasoline suppliers, restaurants, department stores, and home improvement stores are in the long list of suppliers.
You will make a profit off items you would normally purchase!
The profits will be 50/50 split between the school and your family account with the school. Your family account will be credited around March each year.
Program overview:
- Any student can be named to have credit placed in their account.
- Parents, grandparents or anyone can buy for a families school account.
- If no family account is named, all credits are placed in the school account.
- All orders MUST be placed online to receive a credit. They can be paid for by check to the school, or online through “Presto Pay”.
- Orders can be placed through an order form, but the school will receive credit for those orders. No family can be named.
- Any residual funds left in the in the families account as a credit from SCRIP will not be refunded
- If the student or family is not returning to the school, the credits will go back into school account
- There will be NO checks sent to the families for credit on account.
We are asking each family to try and purchase at least $50.00 a month. We are sure that these are items that your family probably uses monthly and it would be a great way to help your child's school and yourself.
All you need to do is go online and register and begin placing your orders. Orders will be placed Monday evening. The order should then be returned to you by Monday the next week. Orders can be picked up after school on each Monday.
